Stairs, Hallway & Kitchen Refresh

Here we freshened up the stairs, hallway and kitchen.

We had a lot of prep work to do involving filling holes by using plasterboard patches and toupet filler and then sanded down with the dust free sander.
We applied two coats of Dulux Trade white emulsion to the ceilings and two coats of the Tikkurila Optiva 5 to provide a strong wipeable paint to the walls.
We applied two coats of Dulux trade white satinwood to the woodwork to give a great finish. -
Lounge & Dining Room Repaint
Location: Ivybridge
Started the job by applying a coat of Zinsser cover stain on areas of the ceiling and walls which had water leak stain marks bleeding through the old paint. We then gave this big ceiling two coats of Dulux Trade white emulsion.

Walls were filled and sanded down with the dust free sander making the room free of dust and giving the walls a smooth strong finish. The walls had two coats of Polished Pebble Dulux Trade matt emulsion.
The windows needed a good rub down with some p120 followed with two coats of sadolin mahogany woodstain.
The rest of the woodwork was finished with pure brilliant white satinwood. -
Bedroom, En-Suite & Hallway Decorating
Location: Aish, South Brent
This was the first job of the year in 2021 freshening up the bedroom,ensuite and hallway and completed to a high standard.

The bedroom walls were freshened up with Dulux Trade vinyl matt polished pebble with two coats of satinwood to the woodwork.
The ensuite needed some filling where cracks were appearing on the ceiling and walls. We used Dulux Trade Diamond eggshell to finish the ceiling and walls.
Within the hallway there was a bit of filling to do and sanded down with the dust free sander. The hallway walls had two coats of Dulux Trade diamond matt applied for a strong wipeable finish.
